What’s In The Box Of RightSign Rapid Antigen Test

When opening your box you’ll find 20x RightSign test cassettes in a sealed pouch, sterile nasal swabs, dropper tips and prefilled buffers. In addition, you’ll also find a package insert as well as a quick reference guide. Please follow the guide and instructions provided for best results.

Directions For Use Of Rapid Antigen Test

Below is a quick summary of how to carry out your test at home. However, each box will contain instructions that you should follow. If you were to misplace these instructions, a quick guide can be found here.

  1. Take the test cassette out of the sealed bag and place it onto a clean flat surface.
  2. Insert the prefilled buffer into the hole on the kit as marked.
  3. Tear the aluminium foil on the prefilled buffer.
  4. Find the swab in the sealed wrapper. Gently peel open the swab packaging from the other end and take out the swab. (Do not touch the soft, fabric tip of the swab)
  5. Insert the entire absorbent tip of the nasal swab (usually 1.5 – 2.5 cm) into one nostril.
  6. Firmly rotate the swab in a circular path against the nasal wall at least 5 times for approximately  15 seconds.
  7. Repeat step 6. with the other nostril.
  8. Place the swab specimen in the prefilled buffer.
  9. Rotate the swab for approximately 10 seconds while pressing the head against the inside of the prefilled buffer vial body.
  10. Remove the swab while squeezing the swab head against the inside of the prefilled buffer vial.
  11. Fit the dropper tip on top of the prefilled buffer vial.
  12. Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 3 drops of the sample solution to the sample well and then start a timer.
  13. Read the result at 10-15 minutes, do not read results after 15 minutes.
  14. Safely dispose of your test – once your test is complete, put all of the used contents in the waste bag and put this in your general household waste. Wash your hands thoroughly after disposal.

 

Warning

Please read the instructions carefully before performing the test. The test can only be performed one time. Testing by adult only or under adult supervision.

Negative test results do not exclude infection with SARS-CoV-2.

Positive test results or symptomatic persons require immediate confirmatory testing with a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.
