Australian P2 Mask has partnered with McGrath Foundation by going pink. AMD has supported by giving us the exclusive pink AMD P2 Mask. For every box sold we will be donating $5 to assist Mcgrath Foundation and McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia.

AMD NANO-TECH P2 Particulate Respirator Masks are proudly made in Australia, for Australians. Featuring 4 protective layers, with NANO-TECH at its core, every AMD P2 mask is designed with the most advanced filtration technology. This is what allows for better all day comfort, breathability and safety with far superior longevity, compared to competitor products.

With 4 protective layers, AMD P2 masks are designed to keep atmospheric contaminants such as silica dust, bushfire smoke and other harmful airborne particles and aerosols out. The nanofibre technology contained within AMD masks filters out 99.66% of airborne particles as tested by VICLAB (BSI) 17.7.20 compared to approximately 60% for many imported masks. This 99.66% Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) is accompanied by a 99.92% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) AS 4381 Level 3. You can learn more about AMD mask lab test results here.

At Australian P2 Mask, we supply only the best PPE solutions for both home and the workplace. Through our own comparisons between the AMD NANO-TECH P2 Particulate Respirators T4 and similar products that are easily found in Chemist Warehouse or Bunnings, the AMD P2 respirators are far superior for the following reasons:

Technology: Nano-filters, comprised of nanofibers, deliver higher filtration efficiency than standard melt blown filters. They’re lighter and more breathable. They also maintain their functionality after exposure to moisture while typical filters lose their electrostatic properties once exposed to water. AMD’s nano-filters are water resistant and protective against airborne particles, aerosols, and liquid. Each individual AMD P2 mask features level 3 fluid resistance.

Fit: Innovative three panel design fits naturally around the nose and mouth creating a better seal and aesthetic. Elastic ear loops hold the respirator securely in place. A soft inner layer and mouldable padded nose bridge wire provide extra comfort.

Comfort: AMD Nano-filter respirators are lighter than standard respirators and allow enhanced breathability which in turn, allow them to be worn for hours on end. While most melt-blown mask products will lose their effectiveness within the 4-6 hour range, AMD P2 respirator masks have shown to last for up to 24 hours without degradation. The three panel design unfolds to shape naturally around the face maximising ventilation around the nose and mouth while still maintaining an effective seal to the environment. Nano-filter respirators are potentially viable options for populations with breathing restrictions such as the elderly and those with heart and lung conditions.

Packaging: Each nano-filter respirator is individually packaged for hygiene and designed to fold flat to facilitate portability and storage. Individual wrapping makes it convenient to carry and distribute without contamination. Every box contains 50 individual masks.

Instructions For Use

Wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or with alcohol-based hand sanitiser prior to touching the AMD P2 respirator mask. Take care not to touch the inner layer that will be in contact with the nose and mouth when unpacking and whilst donning. Check for defects such as tears or broken ear loops. Position the label side out and orient the respirator so that the nose bridge wire is at the top.

Unfold the P2 respirator while holding onto the edges. Fully open top and bottom panels prior to bending the nose bridge wire located within the top flap of the respirator. Position the P2 respirator over the nose and mouth. Place one ear loop over each ear.

Ensure the bottom panel is open and secured beneath the chin. Mould the nose bridge wire to the bridge of the nose to secure the respirator to your face. Place your fingertips from both hands at the top of the metal nose strip. Using two hands mould the nose area to the shape of your nose by pushing inward while moving your fingertips down both sides of the nose strip. Perform a user seal check prior to each wearing. Check all edges are secured and sit flat to maximise the seal.

*Avoid touching the respirator while wearing; if touched, wash hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based sanitiser.

*Replace respirator if it becomes obviously contaminated; never reuse single-use respirators.

Removing The Respirator

Wash hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitiser prior to removing your AMD P2 respirator mask. Unhook the ear loops. Take care to not touch the front of the respirator which might have become contaminated. Dispose as per local policy & procedure.
