V-Chek Rapid Antigen Test (Saliva Test) Self Test 20 Packs are a lateral flow immunoassay intended for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 from saliva specimens collected from individuals within the first 7 days of suspected symptom onset. What differentiates the V-Chek test from other tests is that it’s a lollipop style and much simpler to use, ideal for those that don’t want to perform nasal swabs. We are currently not able to ship to WA for any rapid antigen tests, if you are located in WA please continue to monitor the situation and use PCR tests accordingly. The ARTG Number for this product is 374065 and is currently approved by the TGA for self testing. Please visit the TGA self-test site for more details.

They’re easy to use, non-invasive, yet reliable and accurate (accuracy rates of above 95%). Suitable for ages 2 and above, with results within 10 minutes of testing.

What’s In The Box Of V-Chek Rapid Antigen Tests

When opening your box you’ll find 20x V-Chek test cassettes in a sealed pouch as well as the saliva swabs – also in individual pouches. Please follow the guide and instructions provided for best results.

Directions For Use Of Rapid Antigen Test

Below is a quick summary of how to carry out your test at home. However, each box will contain instructions that you should follow. If you were to misplace these instructions, a quick guide can be found here.

  1. Take the test cassette out of the sealed bag and place it onto a clean flat surface.
  2. Apply the saliva swab through the interior of your mouth for 90 seconds. Move the test back and forth in the front and sides of your mouth for until the swab has absorbed a substantial amount of saliva. This is indicated once the circle on the reverse turns blue.
  3. Clip your test into the test cassette holder and press it down firmly. The bulge on the end of the swab must fit into the opening.
  4. Sit back and await your results.
  5. Safely dispose of your test – once your test is complete, put all of the used contents in the waste bag and put this in your general household waste. Wash your hands thoroughly after disposal.

Warning

Please read the instructions carefully before performing the test. The test can only be performed one time. Testing by adult only or under adult supervision.

Negative test results do not exclude infection with SARS-CoV-2.

Positive test results or symptomatic persons require immediate confirmatory testing with a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.
